Terms of Service
By using TranslateBox PDF you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully before using the service.
1. Service Description
TranslateBox PDF is a web tool that lets you translate PDF documents into 15+ languages while preserving the original design. Document processing happens entirely in your browser; your PDF contents are never sent to our servers.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use the service. By accepting these terms you confirm that you meet this requirement and are legally capable of entering into a contract.
3. Free Plan
- Up to 5 pages per PDF.
- Up to 3 translations per day (per session or account).
- No account required.
4. Paid Plans
Paid plans are managed through Paddle, our payment provider. By purchasing a plan you also agree to Paddle's Terms of Service.
- Monthly / Annual Premium: unlimited pages, up to 50 MB per file, no daily limit. The subscription renews automatically until cancelled.
- Pay-per-PDF: credit for one full translation (up to 50 pages). Does not expire.
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time from the billing portal accessible from your user profile. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
5. Refunds
Pay-per-use credits are non-refundable once the PDF has been downloaded. For subscriptions, you may request a full refund within 7 days of your first purchase if you have not used the service. After that period, no refunds are issued for the current billing cycle. For refund requests, contact support@translateboxpdf.com
6. Acceptable Use
You may use TranslateBox PDF for legitimate personal or professional purposes. The following are prohibited:
- Using the service to translate illegal, defamatory, discriminatory, or third-party rights-infringing content.
- Attempting to circumvent free plan limits in an automated or fraudulent manner.
- Reverse-engineering, decompiling, or extracting the source code of the service.
- Using the service in a way that may impair its availability or performance for other users.
7. Intellectual Property
The service, its design, code, and brand are owned by TranslateBox PDF. We do not transfer any intellectual property rights in the service to you. Documents you translate are yours; by using the service you do not grant us any license over their contents.
8. Translation Accuracy
Translations are automatically generated by an AI engine and may contain errors or inaccuracies. TranslateBox PDF makes no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of translations for any specific purpose. They should not be used as a substitute for a certified professional translation for legal, medical, or financial documents.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, TranslateBox PDF shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the service. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount paid for the service in the 12 months prior to the event giving rise to the claim.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the service if you breach these terms or use the service fraudulently or abusively. You may stop using the service at any time. Cancelling an active subscription does not generate a refund for the remaining period, except as stated in the Refunds section.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may modify these terms at any time. If the changes are material, we will notify you by email or via a notice on the site at least 14 days in advance. Continued use of the service after the notice implies acceptance of the new terms.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the law applicable to the registered address of the service operator. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably shall be submitted to the jurisdiction of the competent courts.
